Our client, an award-winning and prestigious barristersā€™ set of chambers based in Holborn has an excellent job opportunity available for an experienced Legal Biller to join their expanding Revenue Team.

The successful candidate will work with the Barristers and Heads of Revenue to implement changes to existing working practices and initiate improvements in the use of the Case Management software to encourage prompt billing and improve billing procedures.

Core duties will include:

  • Efficient and accurate billing, maximising claim levels and turnaround times
  • Resolving queries in a timely and profession manner
  • Appealing assessments and incorrect decisions
  • Advising barristers on the most effective and efficient billing methods
  • Highlighting potential problem areas to Head of Revenue
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement in the billing process
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing new initiatives
  • Supporting the Credit Controllers on an adhoc basis

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have experience of working as a legal biller for either a barristersā€™ chambers or a law firm, and will have good attention to detail and a calm, patient approach to work in a very busy environment.

  • Hours - 9am to 5:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm
