Sales Ledger Accountant - Property. OUR CLIENT is a long standing, successful UK real estate investment and asset management company. They invest in a diverse portfolio from offices, logistics to healthcare properties. Due to recent growth, they are looking for an experience, commercial and dynamic Sales Ledger Accountant to report to support the credit control and sales ledger function.
THE ROLE responsibilities for the Sales Ledger Accountant will include:
- Raising sales invoices.
- Reconciling ledger balances to property managers statements.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Allocating rent, investigating payments and ensuring they are correctly allocated.
- Chasing outstanding arrears - quarterly rents.
- Sending payment statements to property managers or directly to tenants.
- Making sure the payments have been sent to the insurers.
THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Sales Ledger Accountantrole:
- Must have current sales ledger experience gained from property / real estate industry.
- Be a confident individual - big part of credit control.
- Looking for a long-term, stable career.
- Be IT savvy with strong Excel skills.
- A Team player - they are a close knit team.
