Semi Senior Accountant

You will be working within a multiple partner firm with a wealth of experience, who are offering study support to help aspiring Accountants excellerate their finance careers!

This Semi Senior role is suitable for an experienced Mid-level Accountant with at least 2 years' experience within a multiple partner practice, who is looking to build on their knowledge of VAT, Management accounts and year end accounts work.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

Preparing statutory accounts and year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsBookkeeping - on site with clients and in the central officeMonthly and quarterly management accountsClient VAT returnsWorking closely on time sheets within budget and time restraints

Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice is necessary
• Experience with the software CCH is highly advantageous
• AAT qualification as a minimum and actively working towards ACA / ACCA Qualifications - study support is available
• Experienced as an Accounts Assistant, or Junior Accountant, Trainee Accountant in practice seeking a step up into a Semi-senior role, or an established Semi Senior looking for more complex accounts workHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines

Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

£28,000 - £33,000 per annum - flexible dependant on experience

*Study support package - 2 weeks per exam4% employer pension contribution
