We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-established accountancy practice. This role is perfect for someone who is either fully or part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and has a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an accountancy firm. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and providing insightful financial analysis.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns while providing ongoing financial advice and support.
  • Review and analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documents.
  • Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and standards, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Communicate financial information and analysis to clients and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fully or part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an Accountancy Firm.
  • Detailed knowledge of accounts production and submission.
  • Extensive experience using bookkeeping software, particularly Xero.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
