Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant for a global Tech business in East London paying up to £55k+study support. The role offers hybrid working- 3 days in the office per week

Duties include:

  • Reporting to UK Financial Controller responsible for month end process. Ensuring all tasks are completed timely, and accurately, including Income Statement, Revenue Recognition, Balance Sheet, variance analysis and cashflow.
  • In depth review of results with regards to variance analysis vs Budget and Prior year.
  • Line management of staff Support and mentor the team, oversee & manage workload, conduct annual appraisals, etc.
  • Assist with audit requirements, working closely with auditors
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis to review potential risk and opportunities.
  • Support UK FC, EMEA Accountant and EMEA Controller with adhoc tasks and analysis

Candidates must have/be:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 5 years accounting experience.
  • Proven analytical skills
  • EMEA and / or Global experience
  • Management or supervision of staff, audit background, systems implementation and additional languages would be an advantage
  • Exposure to Netusite
