Senior Accountant Fixed term contract

Finitas are aligned with this leading London Market Insurer in their search for a SeniorAccountant to join the team.

The role involves leading the monthly US GAAP and annual UK GAAP reporting for all legal entities, enhancing processes, and ensuring robust controls across financial ledgers and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage UK GAAP financial statements across multiple entities and prepare monthly US GAAP management accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting and controls, support day-to-day accounting tasks, and maintain timely communication with external advisors.
  • Enhance accounting processes, collaborate on finance projects, and provide auditor support.
  • Conduct a first review of team members' work to maintain quality.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Insurance Accounting background; previous experience in Lloyd's market
  • Reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
