• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Completing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing proactive financial advice
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff, offering guidance and mentorship to support their development
• Assisting with audit assignments, ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards
• Working closely with partners and senior management to improve efficiency and enhance client services
• Staying up to date with industry changes, tax legislation, and accounting standards

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification with relevant experience
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice, working with a range of clients
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Ability to review work, train, and mentor junior team members
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
