This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take on a key role within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include:
  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Assist in financial due diligence and analysis for business growth activities, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure financial reporting aligns with IFRS and local GAAP standards, including intercompany reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insightful financial analysis and variance commentary.
  • Manage financial reporting for multiple entities, ensuring consistency with group accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and perform variance analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Mentor and oversee junior finance team members, fostering a high-performance finance function.
The successful Senior Accountant:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
