About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a private family office overseeing investments in real estate and dental care. This role will support financial reporting and commercial management of an international property portfolio and dental clinics. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with multi-entity structures and consolidations, as well as prior experience in a private family office environment.Working closely with the Head of Finance, this is a hands-on role in a dynamic family office setting.
Key Responsibilities* Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations.* Oversee operating expenses, capital expenditures, and the budgeting process, providing variance analysis and supporting payment processing.* Provide commercial support for the Dental division, including P&L presentations and cash flow management.* Manage VAT returns reconciliation and prepare quarterly rent invoices.* Liaise with external advisors, including auditors, tax advisors, and managing agents.* Lead the appraisal of new locations, ensuring financial alignment with business goals.* Ensure timely reporting, including weekly updates, monthly management accounts, and flash reporting for the dental division.* Manage ad hoc financial queries, requiring strong Excel skills.* Lead year-end processes, liaising with auditors and tax advisors.* Manage a team of 2 accounts assistants and maintain staff training records.
Qualifications & Skills* Experience: Prior experience in a private family office is highly desirable.* Software Skills: Advanced Excel; Sage experience preferred.
Work Arrangement* Hybrid working model - minimum 3 days per week on-site.
