We are actively seeking a Practice Manager to join the team at a well-regarded and friendly London accounting practice.
This is an amazing progression opportunity for a keen professional to move into a leadership role. In this role, there would be a period of support leading to directorship / part ownership pending on performance and targets achieved
About the Practice
This North London practice acts for a wide range of clients and industries with a particular focus on the hospitality sector with back office support from India as well.
More about the role;
- This role would suit someone who already has stepped up from accounts production
- You would be responsible for chasing debtors (overseeing this with an admin assistant)
- Managing the overall budget of the firm
- Mentoring the existing client managers
- Responsibility for staffing and resourcing as well as interviewing and hiring (with support)
- Growing the practice with a 5 year plan and working with the chairman to archive this strategically.
- Liaising with the dedicated India team, and providing feedback.
Is this you?
You are either ACA or ACCA qualified and passionate about customer service and people development, and you love software and technology.
- ACCA or ACA qualification is essential + 2 / 3 years post membership
- 4-5+ years of proven, ideally client-facing, post-qualification experience in a practice environment
- Strong working knowledge of the following software is helpful but not essential: Xero, Dext, Syft Analytics, Inform Direct, Senta
- You find joy in software and technology
- Positive, personable and responsive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience supervising, managing and developing team members
- Proactive with strategic project management and troubleshooting skills
*Please note that a practice certificate is not required for this position to begin with however you would need to obtain one when appointed to the board of directors.
