The company is based in stunning offices in the heart of London and offers a Hybrid (three and two) working pattern.Your new roleAs a Senior Accountant, you will work in a core accounting role in a broad and busy role. Core responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the group providing insightful explanations of material deviations from plans, forecasts and historical trends
- Ownership of all ledgers and providing the supporting monthly reports
- VAT returns
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Review and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient use of available systems
What you'll need to succeed
- Actively studying for an ACCA or CIMA qualification or Qualified By Experience
- Extensive month-end experience, preferably working within a SME finance function
- Previous experience in a fast-moving environment.
- Proven background in enhancing processes / procedures
