Our client, a global leader in financial technology, is on the lookout for a talented Senior Business Analyst/Qualified Accountant to join their innovative team.

About the Role:In this pivotal role, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs, enhance processes, and support data-driven decision-making. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate on cloud migration projects, ensure SOX compliance, and manage financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:- Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements.- Create comprehensive documentation, including BRDs and FRDs.- Validate requirements to prevent scope creep.

Data Analysis:- Compile data from various sources for insightful analysis.- Utilise Excel and SQL to identify trends and anomalies.

Process Improvement:- Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies.- Propose recommendations for enhanced efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement:- Facilitate workshops to gather feedback and align with business objectives.- Maintain regular communication to update on project progress.

Project Support:- Manage project timelines and coordinate resources effectively.- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Documentation and Testing:- Maintain detailed process maps and project updates.- Develop test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong project management background.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., AutoRek) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of payments is advantageous but not essential.
