The RoleAs a Senior Client Accountant & Team Lead, you will manage the financial operations of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio while leading a small team of client accountants. Leveraging your expertise in property accounting and leadership skills, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with the RICS Code of Practice, and exceptional client service. This role offers the opportunity to drive performance improvements, mentor team members, and play a key part in achieving our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee property accounting processes, including rent and service charge management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Manage client relationships, providing financial insights and ensuring timely delivery of reports.
  • Lead a small team of client accountants, offering guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of client instructions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive operational efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5+ years of property accounting experience, with a focus on commercial real estate.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA preferred).
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring a small team.
  • Strong knowledge of the RICS Code of Practice and proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Qube).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
