An excellent opportunity has arisen at a NHS Trust for an established, senior finance business partner to play a key leadership role in one of its main divisions.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Management, the post holder will lead the management accounting team responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis to the operational and clinical teams across two divisions. This extends to providing information to other departments in the Trust and to external bodies. As the key liaison point between the finance department and the business, the Senior Finance Business Partner will provide professional advice, training and support to divisions in the effective management of their financial responsibilities through regular liaison with all budget managers, and aid them in their decision making process.

You should be a qualified accountant with post qualification experience in financial leadership roles which include experience of leading and supporting a small team, the development of business cases, financial planning and reporting. Furthermore, you will require excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to clearly present complex financial or business ideas in an appropriate way for the audience. Preferably you will have experience of working in a NHS Provider environment, but exposure to large, complex, public sector organisations will be very helpful to this role as you will need to apply your strong analytical skills to complicated situations in order to arrive at a solution.
