Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review fixed asset registers and nominal ledger
- Prepare monthly management accounts and client money reconciliations
- Assist in corporate tax calculations, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions
- Support in the preparation of year-end financial statements and budgeting
- Ensure financial controls are robust and regulatory requirements are met
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (auditors, banks, consultants)
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Background in insurance/broking (highly desirable)
- Experience in both practice and industry
- Strong financial reporting and regulatory knowledge (FCA reporting, CASS rules advantageous)
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving
