Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and review fixed asset registers and nominal ledger
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and client money reconciliations
  • Assist in corporate tax calculations, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions
  • Support in the preparation of year-end financial statements and budgeting
  • Ensure financial controls are robust and regulatory requirements are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (auditors, banks, consultants)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years post-qualification experience
  • Background in insurance/broking (highly desirable)
  • Experience in both practice and industry
  • Strong financial reporting and regulatory knowledge (FCA reporting, CASS rules advantageous)
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving
