Halliday Marx have partnered with a media business to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This role focuses on producing statutory accounts and audit for a multitude of entities, along with partnering with other areas of finance.

Hybrid working (3 office, 2 home)

Responsibilities

  • Support the month-end and year-end consolidation process
  • Review and delivery of the statutory reporting and audit for UK entities
  • Being the technical lead on complex statutory accounts under UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • US GAAP to UK GAAP reconciliations
  • Liaising with auditors
  • VAT/PSA submissions
  • Liaising with in house tax team on submissions
  • Ownership of accounting for central holding entities
  • Leading on preparing consolidated cashflow statements

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
  • Statutory Accounts production experience is essential
  • Have no more than a 2 month notice period
  • Audit background is desirable, preferably a top 20 accounting firm
  • Consolidation experience and large client experience is important
  • Confident personality and able to deal with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 would be a big advantage
