This newly created Senior Forensic Accountant for a Insurance firm will form a key part of the Finance team for a rapidly growing Insurancefirm paying £80,000 to £100,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based in the heart of the London

Role

This Senior Forensic Accountant will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the Forensic Manager to put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.

  • Investigate and assess insured financial losses from inception to settlement.
  • Provide support and advice to policy holders in relation to their losses.
  • Examine claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine coverage in the event of a financial loss.
  • Service current clients.
  • Build relationships and undertake marketing activities to grow client base.
  • Investigate insurance claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, comparing claim information with evidence presented.
  • Set loss reserves.
  • Perform detailed analysis and review of financial and non-financial information.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and summarising information.
  • Identify potential litigation when appropriate.
  • Present evidence and serve as an expert witness at legal proceedings.

Profile

The Senior Forensic Accountant for this Insurance is ideally for the below

  • A Qualified ACA Accountant Least 3 years in a similar role
  • Someone who's worked within an insurance company working on complex cases

The Insurance business is having a global presence and a turnover north of 4 billion and plans to double by 2030!
