I have been retained by a dynamic and fast-growing Mining business based in central London, to recruit a technically strong Senior Group Reporting Accountant. In this newly created role; the Senior Group Reporting Accountant will have a broad remit - working closely with the Head of Financial Reporting to prepare the consolidated financial statements and ensure robust compliance across the Group. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse key financial data from regional teams to contribute to the consolidations for the Group
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in a timely and accurate manner; ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
- Implementation and management of financial reporting templates for reports on a quarterly and annual basis
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial reporting processes
- Support statutory audit process
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Participate in multiple ad-hoc projects on a regular basis
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Strong technical skillset
- Experience or an interest in Mining / Resources / similar industry
- Drive and ambition!
Package:
- £75-85,000 (DOE)
- Min. 10% bonus
