A large group with a head office in central London is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to be part of it's UK audit team. The role will carry out assurance reviews to add value and improve systems and processes by evaluating the existing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements. The key responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor include:-
  • Identifying business objectives and risks and evaluating key controls
  • Assisting in the design and execution of operational audits to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment
  • Presenting findings and making recommendations to improve / enhance controls
The ideal candidate for the role will:-
  • Possess demonstrable experience of internal audit, risk and controls gained in a plc environment
  • Have a relevant qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Be flexible and able to travel across the UK c30% of the time
