A great opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor with 3 to 5 years experience to join a large UK group with a head office in central London and be a key part of it's UK audit team. The role will support the development of the internal audit function as a trusted business partner by building internal realtionships and carrying out assurance reviews that add value and improve systems and processes and evaluating existing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements. The key responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor include:-
  • Identifying business objectives and risks and evaluating key controls
  • Assisting in the design and execution of operational audits to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment
  • Presenting findings and making recommendations to improve / enhance controls
The ideal candidate for the role will:-
  • Possess demonstrable experience of internal audit, risk and controls ideally gained in a plc environment
  • Have a relevant qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Be flexible and able to travel across the UK c30% of the time
