Senior Management Accountant - 6 month contract

TalentEdge are partnered with a rapidly scaling FinTech who are expected to go through a 30% growth trajectory in 2025. My client is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to work directly with the CFO for a 6 month contract to support the finance function through a critical reporting period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts for group and entities including input of variances and commentary
  • Conduct monthly reviews with budget holders and head of departments to identify highlights, risks and opportunities through their P&L's
  • Ensure timely processing of accruals, prepayments, and ledger entries
  • Consult and lead on support of technical accounting policies such as intangible asset impairment, revenue and financial statements
  • Work with the CFO and Group FC supporting on financial statements and month-end movements, ensuring a smooth delivery of financial reporting for external auditors
  • Lead on monthly reviews with budget holders and head of departments to identify highlights, risks and opportunities through their P&L's

About you:

  • ACA/ACCA/CAANZ/CA/CIMA Qualified
  • Extensive experience working within the FinTech sector
  • Proven experience leading and building monthly management packs, including journals, prepayments, accruals and variances
  • Strong relationship builder and excellent communicator
