Fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to make a key contribution to the financial operations of a PE backed renewable business.

Description
- Prepare Management Accounts, support production of statutory accounts (FRS 102) and assist with external audit.
- Mentor and manage one junior team member.
- Collaborate with other teams including FBP team, assisting with the production of business plans and assisting with companywide projects.
- Prepare cashflow, PL and BS forecasts.
- Oversee VAT returns and Corporate tax returns
- Maintain fixed asset register (Additions, Disposals, Depreciation)
- Develop and maintain a strong internal controls environment.
- Manage Payroll process with assistance from service provider.
Profile
The ideal Management Accountant:
- Experience in a similar Management Accountant role
- Qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience mentoring other team members.
- Process improvement mindset.
