Our client are based in the City of London, they will be offering an immediate start to the successful candidate and hybrid working.

Description

As Senior Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Overseeing the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Compiling and distributing monthly financial reports.
  • Producing detailed reports to track financial performance, trends, and projections.
  • Ensuring accurate recording, organisation, and reporting of all financial transactions.
  • Maintaining compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Documenting accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance financial governance.
  • Optimising financial processes and systems for efficiency.
  • Managing cash flow, outstanding balances, and debt recovery strategies.

Profile

  • ACA qualification required.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a mid-sized company.
  • Strong understanding of industry practices, systems, and financial processes.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Capable of thriving in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with XLedger or similar financial systems is advantageous.
