We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join our team in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to support the growth and profitability of our business.

Description
- Preparation and production of monthly Management Accounts and Reporting.
- Financial statement forecasting.
- Cash and bank - monitor and control cashflow and banking across multiple project companies.
- Work closely with Project Finance Business Partner to provide financial information for project variance analysis and ensure project CAPEX is deployed efficiently and to budget.
- Audit
- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Registers, ensure accurate recognition of fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation.
- Oversee VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current rules.
- Manage Payroll process in collaboration with Payroll services supplier.
- Assist with production of business plans.
- Management of 1 Finance Assistant
Profile
- Finalist/Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Detailed technical accounting knowledge and proven experience in a similar role
- Experience of large-scale capital construction projects
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, Excel essential.
- Flexible, adaptable and motivated with a proactive approach
- Willingness to be proactive in a remote working environment and develop an excellent working knowledge of the business and sector.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £60,000
