Senior Management Accountant

£45,000 - £50,000 + bonus

Join a thriving business! Butler Rose is delighted to be representing this dynamic enterprise in the heart of Central London, in their search for a Snr Management Accountant.

In this role you'll dive into both management accounting tasks and Finance Business Partnering, gaining invaluable exposure in a diverse business landscape taking responsibility for the management accounts process for your designated area within this rapidly expanding and ambitious company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Production of Monthly management accounts inc analysis, accruals, prepayments, commissions and opex accruals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and investigating anomalies
  • Collaborating with offshore counterparts to ensure seamless completion of management accounts, sales reports, and balance sheet reconciliations for their respective business areas
  • Business partnering with group business leadership to maintain financial control, develop and forecast new strategies and deal with new business ventures.
  • Investigating variances and responding to queries.
  • Prepare and develop ad hoc sales analysis for publication to the business.
  • Leading budgeting efforts within your remit
  • Providing information and support to the Group Financial Controller for the year-end audit both internally and to the external auditors with explanations of variances.
  • Assist the Group Head of FP&A in ad hoc projects

Requirements for the role:

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA or part-qualified and nearing completion (study support offered)
  • Excellent communication skills - a personable and approachable manner, with a confidence communicating at senior management level
  • Good system skills, including strong Excel, data modelling and reporting tools
  • Good data analysis experience
