Halliday Marx have partnered with a vast media business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on an interim basis for 12 months. This role could go permanent.
Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Responsibilities;
- Producing a full set of management accounts with detailed commentary on variances for a very for a large entity
- Preparing month end journals, accruals and prepayments
- P&L/Balance sheet analysis
- Producing the Statutory Accounts
- Producing annual budgets and monthly reforecasts
- Liaising with the auditors
- Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
- VAT Submissions to HMRC
- Tax accounting duties
Requirements;
- On no more than a 1 month notice
- Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience with FULL ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Consolidations experience
- Strong Excel skills {Vlookup's & Pivot Tables as an absolute minimum}
- Have Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
