Due to the growth within the Marine Division, they are looking for a Senior Operations Technician to join their team.Your new role

Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician within the Marine Operations team, means you will have an excellent level of Technical Insurance knowledge to both process and support managers and team members in a technical capacity and provide support and assistance to the team in India. Duties will also include end to end premium processing, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using Global XB. You will have a strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau in the workings of accounting and settlement protocols, extensive understanding of MRCs, working knowledge of Lineslips and Binding Authorities. Further duties include attending business unit, client, underwriter or marker meetings, providing technical input where required, understanding of resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements, coordinating and reporting on revenue at business unit level. The role includes working within the Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support to clear all Financial Disciplines (bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding and signings) assigned to them in accordance with internal SLA's or escalated accordingly.What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Technician (Back end premium processing) within a Lloyd's Insurance Broker with experience in dealing with the Bureaux will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be able to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within their respective team, business units and/or associated clients and markets, create timely and accurate accounting transactions and premium signings. You will have attention to detail and accuracy, a high level of accountability and problem-solving, self-motivation, can work with a degree of autonomy, strong computer skills and robust communication skills.
