City of London - ideal candidate would be able to do 5 days a week in office due to high profile nature of the role

Banking & Financial Services

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timely preparation and submission of all PRA, EBA, BOE and Regulated Mortgage returns
  • Responsible for the submission of all regulatory reports, using the bank's software, though Excel star needed as quite manual
  • Assist in the interpretation of rules and guidance pertaining to regulatory returns including assessment of the impact of such rules on regulatory returns
  • Assist with on-going system, process and control improvements, liaising with software vendors and IT department
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relating to the Bank's regulatory & financial reporting
  • Assist with production of information to be reported in the ILAAP, ICAAP and Pillar 3
  • Liaise with business lines including IT, Operations, Private Banking, Structured Property Finance, Treasury and Risk functions as required
  • Liaise with external and internal audit functions including assistance for year-end reporting purposes as and when required
  • To provide cover for the Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant, as and when required
  • Provide assistance preparing the quarterly financial reporting to major shareholders
  • Any other ad-hoc work required by the CFO, Chief Accountant and the Regulatory Accountant as and when required

  • To come from other SME Bank OR possible Prudential Advisory in Big 4/Top 20000
  • Solid Excel for modelling and manual tasks
