  • Oversight of the provision of mixed tax advisory work
  • Knowledge of corporate restructuring

  • Ensure client reports and assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with the wider tax and corporate finance teams
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring awareness of their requirements
  • Recognise and respond to clients’ business needs, providing quality tax advice on all aspects of assignments
  • HMRC liaison and problem solving
  • Supporting the Partners on the commercial development of the firm.
  • Managing a team of accountants, HR and overseeing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Empower the tax team through appropriate delegation and effective people management
  • Consistently seek internal improvement, presenting opportunities to senior leadership
  • Demonstrate commitment to the firms ongoing strategic direction, communicating and adapting to change
  • Manage margins effectively to drive profitability
  • Successful engagement of new clients
  • Identify changes in Tax legislation and how they affect clients and promote new advisory projects
  • Support the leadership team with the mentoring and development of junior staff

  • CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA or CA qualified, QBE would also be considered
