Our client is based close to Waterloo and is looking to hire an intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant stepping up as follows:
- Working alongside the wider accounts and property management teams dealing with the full cycle of Service Charge matters
- Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders and RMC directors, acting as first point of contact for queries whilst keeping line managers and the wider property management function informed
- Using QUBE as the in-house CRM (exposure to this would be beneficial but full training can be provided for those with good general IT awareness)
- Daily/Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Producing monthly/quarterly statements
- HMRC returns and reporting
- Providing accounting data for year-end accounts/audit
- 1 years’ service charge exposure essential (at any level)
- Initially office based to start, moving to hybrid (2 days from home) once settled and up to speed with systems/expectations
For the successful intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant, remuneration will include a basic salary up to £36k to start alongside encouragement and funding for professional development and a genuine career path.
