Candidates must be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with a strong knowledge of IFRS and a statutory accounting background.

Statutory Accountant - 6 month FTC

London

£60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Cobalt is currently supporting a prestigious Real Estate Developer in their search for a Statutory Accountant to join their team.

This business has had a fantastic year winning multiple new deals and are now looking to hire a Statutory Accountant on an initial 6 month FTC to lead on the production of the statutory accounts.

This is a great role to gain experience within the the Real Estate industry.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements under IFRS
Preparation of monthly accounting
Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reconciliations
Liaising with non-finance members & auditors
Potential to implement a new statutory accounting system

Requirements:

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Organised individual
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Statutory accounting background
Strong Excel skills
