Sustainability Reporting Accountant – 6-Month FTCMeraki Talent is working with a global investment manager to recruit a Sustainability Reporting Accountant on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This London-based role operates on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) within the Group Sustainability Reporting Team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the technical analysis of external sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Support or lead ESG disclosure initiatives, focusing on ISSB and CSRD.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design ESG disclosures for external reports.
  • Prepare governance papers for ESG disclosure approvals.
  • Coordinate responses to auditor queries related to ESG disclosures.
  • Maintain and enhance controls to strengthen the overall control environment.
  • Stay up to date with ESG disclosure regulations and industry best practices.
Skills & Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) or equivalent.
  • Strong financial reporting skills and experience with IFRS.
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
