Broster Buchanan are hiring for a Senior Tax Accountant for a leading transportation organisation.

This is a permanent, full-time role based out of their Central London office, but supporting 3 days per week remote working.

The position comes with a salary of circa £60k-£75k plus 15%-20% bonus, 15% pension contributions and a great benefits package.

Working closely with the Senior Tax Managers, the Senior Tax Accountant will fulfil a mixed tax position covering all types of business tax (corporation tax, VAT/indirect tax, employment taxes etc.)

The role-holder will enjoy a varied role with a mix of tax compliance, tax advisory, business partnering and tax project work.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting Senior Tax Manager in ensuring all tax filing deadlines are met.

- Preparation of Alphatax CT computations and submissions

- Assisting with the tax reporting for monthly and quarterly management accounts

- Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly VAT return

- Responding to internal tax queries

- Preparation of tax provisions for year-end Statutory accounts including current and deferred tax and IFRS tax disclosures.

- Assistance with P11D’s / PAYE Settlement Agreement

- Supporting with ad-hoc project work

- Business partnering with different teams across the business
