Role Responsibilities
As Tax Director, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service, leading a talented tax team, and contributing to the strategic success of the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base, including HNWIs, SMEs, and large corporates
- Develop and implement the firm’s tax strategy, aligning it with broader business goals
- Act as a key advisor to clients, providing guidance on complex tax matters such as corporate restructuring, inheritance tax, international tax, and R&D claims
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a proactive approach to meeting their needs
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth by building a network of professional contacts
- Ensure compliance with the latest tax legislation and regulations, advising clients on changes and their implications
- Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and professional forums

Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven tax expert with proven experience in delivering high-quality advisory services. The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications: CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience: Significant experience in tax advisory at a senior level, preferably within a practice environment
- Leadership: Strong track record of managing teams and driving business growth
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of UK tax legislation, with experience in complex tax planning
- Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Commercial Awareness: Ability to identify opportunities for new services and growth
