Role Overview:

A boutique firm are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Tax Professional with an interest in Corporate Reconstructions to join team. The successful candidate will hold a CTA qualification and have significant experience in corporate reconstructions, tax analysis, and advisory services. This is a dynamic role that will involve producing detailed tax analysis, providing high-level tax advice, and preparing client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed tax analysis and identify tax-efficient solutions for corporate restructuring projects, including mergers, demergers, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Prepare comprehensive tax step plans and reports tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Work closely with client managers and clients to understand their objectives and develop bespoke tax strategies that align with their business goals.
  • Deliver client presentations alongside client managers that clearly communicate complex tax concepts and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including client partners, accounting, and admin teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure that clients are informed of any potential impact on their business.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other relevant bodies as needed to resolve tax queries or disputes.

Key Requirements:

  • CTA qualified
  • Strong experience and technical expertise in corporate reconstructions, including mergers, acquisitions, demergers, and liquidations.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed tax analysis, step plans, and reports.
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering client presentations on complex tax matters.
  • Strong understanding of UK tax legislation, particularly in relation to corporate tax, CGT, stamp taxes. High level understanding of IHT, personal tax, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
