We're working with an exciting early stage B2B SaaS start ups in the Tax industry, a company on a mission to bring quality knowledge led tax automation to the small and mid sized accountancy market and specialist tax advisors alike. 

They’re now looking to appoint a Tax Knowledge Expert. Someone CTA qualified with a background in tax (a blend of personal and corporate) to play a crucial role in shaping how their AI driven tax review platform delivers value to accountants / advisors and their clients.

This isn’t a traditional client facing tax role, it’s your chance to be at the intersection of tax, technology, and product innovation, working closely with a talented team of engineers, and founders who are building something that helps the profession.

The job
  • Use your tax knowledge to build and refine the platform’s AI powered tax logic engine

  • Translate UK tax legislation and best practice into structured formats that can be applied at scale

  • Work closely with developers to test, shape, and improve how the software handles tax scenarios

  • Keep the platform up to date with key changes in tax law and HMRC guidance

  • Be a key internal voice of the tax user, shaping features and functionality to align with what real accountants and tax advisers need

About you
  • CTA qualified with strong UK tax knowledge in Practice

  • Experience working in an accountancy firm or specialist tax consultancy

  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

  • An interest in how tech can improve tax processes and reduce risk

  • A desire to be part of something early stage, collaborative, and high growth
