Join a leading music specialist firm as a Tax Trainee in our Tax Department. This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in both tax and the music industry, looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare, review, and submit personal, partnership, and corporation Tax Returns to HM Revenue & Customs in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Tax Manager with the effective running of the Tax Department, including submissions and payments, workflow, and statistics.
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of forms P11D and various other tax forms.
  • Assist with setting up new clients, including registering for UTR numbers and managing Government Gateways on behalf of clients.
  • Correspond with HMRC on routine matters via letter, email, and telephone.
  • Provide tax information for mortgage applications or for accountants/advisers in other tax jurisdictions.
  • Organise department filing and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a tax-related role.
  • Familiarity with CCH or similar tax software.
  • Possible ATT studier or equivalent educational background.
  • Strong working knowledge of business and personal taxation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a team player with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
