Accounts & Administrative Assistant (Permanent Role)Croydon, LondonAbout the Role An exciting opportunity for an Accounts & Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic team in Croydon! This fully office-based position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with 1-3 years of experience in administrative and bookkeeping roles, looking to grow within a supportive and ambitious company.Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)
  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes (unpaid)
Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping & Stock Management: Use the Sage 200 Evolution ERP system for standard bookkeeping tasks and to manage stock.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Support procurement activities and manage logistics for special finishes and supplier processes.
  • Sales Support: Raise sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices using Sage; process stock orders for manufacturing stock parts.
  • Stock Checks: Assist with monthly stock checks and update data in Sage.
  • Team Administration Support: Provide essential administrative support to both management and sales teams; cover for team members during holidays.
  • Cross-departmental Coordination: Serve as the key liaison between the factory and office, ensuring smooth communication across all departments.
  • Customer & Supplier Enquiries: Answer phones and professionally handle enquiries from customers and suppliers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 1-3 years in administrative and bookkeeping roles.
  • Communication: Polite, professional, and persuasive with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organization: Highly organized with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Sage accounting software (particularly Sage 200 Evolution) is preferred.
