Kenny Recruit are looking for someone who is at the start of their accountancy career, someone who is a keen learner and someone who wants to progress to join a fast-growing manufacturer of household products as a Finance Admin Assistant. Our client produces various products which are sold nationwide across well-known shops and online platforms. The products are produced with an environmentally friendly mission being them. Our client has doubled their takings over the last couple of years and have the aim to continue this growth. As a Finance Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow within a dynamic business environment. Study support is on offer for those who are looking to qualify. Having a degree in a relevant subject or in an analytical subject is beneficial.
Pay: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Location: Central London (2 days in the office)
Working hours: 9am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and bank reconciliations
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of transactions
- Processing supplier payments and staff expenses
- Supporting with credit control and chasing overdue invoices
- Updating spreadsheets, databases, and financial reports
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve invoice queries
- Supporting the month-end and year-end processes
- Supporting with sales admin e.g. new line forms and new customer set up processes
- Weekly sales reporting and analysis
- EPOS reporting and analysis for our key retail customers
- Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc financial tasks
About You:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good numerical skills with the ability to process data accurately
- Familiarity with accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team
- A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar finance or administrative role is desirable but not essential
