Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Close to Liverpool St

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients at their London office. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties to support the Accounts function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approve Chrome River expenses and invoices.
  • Enter and post invoices outside of Chrome River.
  • Monitor and track purchase order allocations in Chrome River.
  • Handle weekly reimbursement payments.
  • Process invoices.
  • Prepare intra-company invoices.
  • Upload vendor information and manage new vendor requests.
  • Maintain accurate bank details and addresses for all active vendors.
  • Respond to email enquiries, escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor unpaid disbursements for non-London bills.
  • Manage partner draw/distribution payments.
  • Prepare and enter month-end journals.
  • Cover cash flow and report client receipts.
  • Reclassify expenses as required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft programs.
  • Accounting qualification or certification is desirable.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree level education or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment is desirable.
