Handle Recruitment are working alongside an amazing music management company in recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work in their team. Working in a fast-paced environment, this is a broad role reporting to and supporting the finance team. You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time for the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Tracking artists spend and revenue for post month end review
  • Posting sales invoices
  • Chasing overdue debts
  • Regular reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Perform data entry and maintain financial records in the company's accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
  • Opportunity to support the production team
  • Assist with ad hoc financial and business analysis
  • Assisting with year-end audit and royalty runs

Desired skills:

  • Able to demonstrate experience of working in a Finance department to tight deadlines in a busy working environment
  • Intermediate Excel is essential
  • Experience with datasets is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Oracle NetSuite is desirable, but more importantly will be a demonstrable ability to learn and adapt to new software packages
  • Good grasp of general accounting procedures
  • Experience of liaising with staff outside of the finance team, at all levels, to resolve issues and effectively relay information
  • Experience of stock is desirable but not essential
