We are looking for a candidate who has a degree in Accounting or finance or part qualified AAT, with a desire to complete CIMA to join this wealth management firm in London. You will be in the office 2 - 3 days a week

You will assist the qualified Accountant with the maintenance of the company's accounting system, including processing transactions, and reconciling accounts.

Recording financial transactions and preparing journal entries.

Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Preparing accounts receivable and accounts payable reports.

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assisting with credit card and expense management.

Prepare weekly and/or fortnightly payment runs.

Liaising with other departments and external partners to resolve any financial issues or discrepancies.

Assisting with audit preparation and providing support during the audit process.

Maintain accurate electronic filing and email filing.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

To apply you should have some experience in an accounting role in ideally a financial firm in the UK, with a good understanding of Finance related process and procedures

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
