Accounts Assistant | Fast Growth SaaS Scaleup | London

Harmonic are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a fast-growth SaaS business in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Central London. Their cutting-edge software platform which supercharges other businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions has landed them backing from top Venture Capital firms globally (early investors into Airbnb, Instagram and OpenAI).

They have a great office space in the heart of London, where they like to make use of the vibrant bars and restaurants nearby and are now looking for an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their sociable, collaborative team.

After recently raising a further £50m in funding, they are looking to significantly invest across Finance in the next 1-2 years, offering a great opportunity to grow and develop transactional skills whilst gaining broader commercial experience.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your primary responsibility will be overseeing daily transactional processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. You'll also manage financial data, ensuring its precision and completeness. Your keen attention to detail will support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day transactional accounting requirements including;
  • Invoice and expense processing
  • Payment processing
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Maintaining the company purchase ledgers
  • Liaising with third party providers, and suppliers
  • Liaising with employees and their managers over expenses
  • Run critical key monthly processes
  • Purchase ledger & supplier reporting
  • Drafting payment runs
  • Maintain and update process documentation
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Quickly triaging and responding to queries from stakeholders in and out of the company
  • Supporting with month end alongside the Junior Accountant

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

  • 1+ years experience in a accounts/finance role
  • Good technical knowledge and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive

What We'd Like to See (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience in a start-up/high-growth environment

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
