We are currently recruiting for a business minded Accounts Assistant to support the Finance team, who is driven, solution focused and has a keen eye for detail. This role would suit an individual who is excited by success and who wants to work with a dynamic business, assist with controls and systems in a fast-paced environment whilst supporting the Finance Director in the running of the finance function within the business. Description
The key responsibilities of this Accounts Assistant role will include:
- Work with Xero our financial system and Unleashed stock management system
- Daily sales, commission, productivity of staff utilising Zenoti booking system and Xero financial system
- Purchase orders
- Petty cash postings
- Posting supplier invoices
- Customer statements, chasing customer payments and monthly credit control
- Communicate with customers with regards to payments and orders
- General accounts and office administration
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- 2+ years experience in similar accountancy role
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience of Xero essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn
- Team player
