Our client, a well-respected specialist professional services firm based in the heart of the City, has an excellent permanent job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
Core duties will include:
- Processing Purchase ledger Invoices
- Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements
- Preparing and processing Payment runs
- Maintaining Cashbooks
- Maintaining the Financial Accounts inbox
- Assisting with month-end duties
- Working as part of a team to ensure accounting deadlines are met
- Ad Hoc tasks when required
Technical skills, qualifications and experience required
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role
- A flexible, pragmatic, positive, "can-do" attitude, solution focused with plenty of initiative
- Able to understand business priorities and quickly adapt to changes
- Ability to deliver high-quality and accurate outputs
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple demands and support deadlines
