Join our team as a Junior Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant, supporting a dedicated team of six accountants focused predominantly on clients within the music industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients including musicians, bands, record labels, artist management companies, publishers, and charities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage monthly cash books and ensure accurate financial records.
- Raise sales invoices for various live performances, recording advances, and recharges.
- Input all purchase and sales invoices onto Xero.
- Prepare payment transfers and handle expense analysis.
- Conduct journal entries and prepare bank and credit card account applications.
- Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents.
- Download and analyse monthly bank and credit card statements.
- Experience in bookkeeping or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Xero.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Interest in the music industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexible working hours with a core time from 10am to 4:30pm.
