Join our team as a Junior Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant, supporting a dedicated team of six accountants focused predominantly on clients within the music industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients including musicians, bands, record labels, artist management companies, publishers, and charities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage monthly cash books and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Raise sales invoices for various live performances, recording advances, and recharges.
  • Input all purchase and sales invoices onto Xero.
  • Prepare payment transfers and handle expense analysis.
  • Conduct journal entries and prepare bank and credit card account applications.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents.
  • Download and analyse monthly bank and credit card statements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in bookkeeping or a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Xero.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Interest in the music industry is advantageous but not essential.
