We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing Property Firm.
This role involves supporting the Financial Operations Team with tasks like bank reconciliations, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounts Assistant will also assist with sales and purchase ledgers, expenses, and ad hoc tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process manual payments and handle bank transactions.
- Record incoming and outgoing payments.
- Manage tenant app transactions and postings.
- Support sales ledger activities, including invoice follow-ups.
- Reconcile debtor balance sheets and supplier statements.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with other ad hoc accounts-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Accounts payable/receivable, preferably in real estate or similar industries.
- Technical Skills:
- Bank reconciliation.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience using invoicing systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies.
