About the Role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely with senior finance professionals to support the month-end close process, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help drive informed decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
  • Monitor cost variances and assist in ensuring expenditure remains aligned with budgets.
  • Help maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and support cash management activities.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and billing.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and financial analysis as required by senior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: A degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) is advantageous.
  • Experience: Up to 2 years in a finance or accounting role (internship or entry-level roles considered).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts) and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Analytical & Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.
