Description

  • Assist with bookkeeping and preparation of monthly management accounts, including bank postings and reconciling multiple complex bank accounts.

  • Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation for monthly investment portfolios, including the accounting of financial investments (gains, losses, revaluations).

  • Manage inter-company loans and their reconciliations.

  • Work across multiple group companies.

  • Prepare and upload journal templates into the accounting system.

  • Oversee the preparation of month-end reporting, which includes:

    • Reviewing month-end management accounts.

    • Tracking and analysing cash, debt, and securities.

    • Preparing monthly 5-year financial forecasts.

    • Summarising subsidiary performance.

  • Assist in preparing weekly cash-flows and loan security analyses.

  • Manage and adhere to strict deadlines.

  • Oversee work flow management and task allocation.

  • Handle general ad-hoc duties as needed.

Profile

  • AAT qualified/ACCA part-qualified.
  • Previous real-estate experience.
  • Previous experience working across AP & AR.
  • Excel skills: V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks desirable.
  • Highly-organised with an ability to balance key reporting tasks.
  • Strong team player.
