Kenny Recruit have partnered with a media solutions business within the financial services industry to find an Accounts Assistant. The growth of our client has found them working internationally, having grown organically, they deliver strategic media planning and buying services to a long-standing client base. Working across various financial sectors including asset management and trading, our client offers an unrivalled depth and understanding of this part of the media world.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will focus on AP but will also have the ability to work on the AR side of the ledger as well as carry out ad hoc tasks. You will work in a team of 5 so this will give you excellent exposure, you will build relationships with suppliers, and you will have your own portfolio to be responsible for. This role suits someone who has recently graduated or someone who has a small amount of experience. There is study support on offer, so you need to be progressive, you need to want to learn.
Pay: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Location: London Bridge (Hybrid working is offered)
Working hours: 9am- 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Main focus - maintain and update purchase ledger, chase and resolve all queries
- Post all supplier invoices to the accounting/media system
- Reconciling accounts to supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Produce monthly BACS run
- Maintain and post bank transactions
- Monthly bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
- Maintain and update nominal ledger
- Settle employee expenses and overheads
- Ad hoc financial administration duties
Requirements:
- Display a high level of initiative, be self-motivated and eager to learn
- Excellent numerical skills
- Recently graduated from a relevant degree or have 6 months - 1 year of experience
